Client Tedia, Inc.
Fairfield, Ohio

Tedia, a global provider of specialty high purity solvents, identified a need for a new R&D facility to facilitate the continued growth of the business. The design objective to create an attractive building in an industrial setting was met through the use of colored split face masonry combined with metal wall panels and a disciplined treatment of window openings and placement to give the building a well ordered look. The building houses several high tech labs and features an HVAC system providing 12 air changes per hour to insure proper ventilation of the labs and lab hoods. Most of the labs are on the upper level, and are provided with daylighting via large skylights. Functional areas on the lower level of the building include office areas, an employee lunch room and locker facilities.
